21st Century Award Notification

Good afternoon everyone,
We are very excited to share that Liberty County has been awarded the 21st Century Program again this year! This is a COMPETITIVE grant and this grant cycle will last for the next four years. While we have received our award notification, we have not yet received our total award amount & are awaiting the FLDOE 21st Century program to schedule our initial meeting within the next week or two. We will be able to hire staff and schedule students as soon as that initial meeting occurs.

Just a reminder that while Liberty County has received the 21st Century Grant, the FLDOE has not given us the opportunity to get started. The Budget and Technical Review process is underway and we will share updates weekly. We have expressed our concern about the timeline and hope we will have an estimated start date soon.
